OxfordAQA International AS and A-Level Mathematics 9660 is the current modular OxfordAQA senior-secondary Mathematics route. It gives substantial weight to pure Mathematics while integrating Statistics and Mechanics.
OxfordAQA’s current Mathematics subject page also lists a revised Mathematics 9760 for a future specification generation. Current 9660 candidates should continue to use the specification that applies to their examination cohort rather than switching early to a future code.
The four-unit route

The International AS can stand alone or contribute 40% of the full International A-Level. Units may be re-sat; OxfordAQA states that the best result for each unit counts toward the final qualification under the current 9660 structure.

- Make algebra and functions reliable before deeper calculus.
- Keep Statistics and Mechanics active rather than postponing the applied route.
