This page owns the first-contact question: how to tell us about your child and begin a conversation. It does not replace the Mathematics Journey, Mathematics Diagnosis, A-Math Directory, Tutor Craft or the technical HELP runtime.
What should I send?
A short message is enough. Include whatever you already know:
- Student stage: Primary, Secondary, A-Math, JC, IP/IB/IGCSE, or simply “not sure”.
- Present signal: recent result, falling marks, slow homework, repeated mistakes, difficulty starting questions, examination problems, or a wish to progress further.
- Useful evidence: a recent marked paper, question, school topic or example of where the student gets stuck, if you have one.
- Your question: what you would most like us to clarify first.
You do not need to prepare all four. Start with the information you have. The first job is to understand the student well enough to decide whether tuition is useful and what the next justified step should be.

What happens after I message?
The first conversation is for fit and clarity. We look at the student’s stage, the concern and any useful evidence before deciding what kind of help is justified. More tuition is not automatically the answer; the aim is the smallest useful intervention that helps the student move forward with increasing independence.
