What Changes in Primary 5

Primary 5 installs the PSLE core systems:

Fractions/decimals/percentage become one blended system
Problem sums become longer and more integrated
Children must develop time-awareness and checking habits early

The 4 Things That Must Be Stable by End of Primary 5

1) Fractions–decimals–percentage as ONE system

Not three chapters — one connected system that converts smoothly.

2) Proportional thinking (the engine behind hard questions)

Many upper primary problems are really “comparison and scaling” problems.

3) Geometry and measurement foundations must be clean

Weak foundations here become huge marks loss in Primary 6.
